William Chambers's American trip on podcast
There is a podcast that I listen to called This American Life. The latest podcast is about Captain's logs and "neutral language" which allows compartmentalization of strong emotions in during upsetting situations. Act 3 of this particular podcast gives an account of William Chambers (who's company I'm learning about for my research) and he's casually referred to as a "Scottish guy." The story is about a trip he makes to a slave auction. In the story they mention consulting and expert on William Chambers, and she, Aileen Fyfe, based at St. Andrews, is credited at the end. Interestingly, I'm going to be meeting Aileen for the first time in person and having lunch her next month in Edinburgh.
